Gratitude

Gratitude is an internal feeling of gratefulness and appreciation. When you express gratitude it will brighten your mood. When I am feeling down I begin to think about all of the things I'm grateful for and it brings a calmness to my soul. It's understandable if some days you don't feel grateful because lets admit it, life can really be difficult at times and that's ok. The key is not to stay stuck in being depressed or ungrateful. Some different ways to show gratitude are to meditate, text/write gratitude cards to people who you're thankful for, start each day with writing down 5 things that you are grateful for and last, appreciate yourself. Write down or voice your gratefulness for your being and existence. We have all been placed here for a reason and you are to be celebrated for hanging in there and braving the short time that we have here on earth.
